Mural: Army Cadet Force Trompe L'oeil
The ACF mural
measures 28 feet wide by 9 feet high and covers one wall of
the ACF (Army Cadet Force) Mess at Raglan Barracks, Newport in South
Wales.
The mural
was commissioned by Colonel Mead on his retirement after
40 years service, and depicts the various activities of the ACF
in Newport.

The mural
is a trompe l'oeil scene depicting three windows looking out
onto various scenes, together with shelves of equipment and a door
with regimental shields above. It was painted in a mixture of acrylics
